Polycoat Rubberized Bitumen Emulsion is a Latex modified bitumen Emulsion. It dries to form a tough black, seamless, flexible, water and vapour proof membrane. Applications: * As an impervious waterproofing and protective coating on concrete foundations. * As a curing compound on freshly cast concrete structures. * As a damp proof membrane in sandwich construction. * Waterproofing in wet areas such as toilets kitchens etc. * General waterproofing coating for both interior and exterior floors and walls. * Adhesive for bonding woodwork, mosaics, insulation boards, expanded polystyrene, cork tiles. Advantages: * Can easily be applied cold, on damp substrates. * Dual advantage of curing as well as protection on concrete. * Asbestos free, odourless , water based and non-toxic. * Environmentally friendly and can be applied in closed or confined spaces * Excellent resistance against soil acids, alkali, chloride and sulphate ions. * Excellent adhesion to most building substrates. * Seamless/Joint free. Technical Properties: * Color : Dark Brown * Rubber content: >10% in dried film * Service Temperature: -10 to 100 degree C * Drying Time: 30min at 25 degree C Application Instruction: All surface should be cleaned of all dirt, dust, oil, grease and other deleterious materials which will affect the bonding. It is highly recommended to apply a priming coat prior to the application of Polycoat RBE. Dilute with 20% water and apply this diluted coat as primer.
